Vehicle overview
This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Pro Touring coupe received a body-off-frame restoration and is finished in Ruby Red Metallic with painted silver stripes and a custom Ruby Red interior. The body is clean and straight with an SS hood. The grille, front bumper, and lenses present well, while the mirrors, door handles, marker lights, window moldings, taillights, rear trim, rear bumper, windshield, rear window, and weatherstripping were replaced. It rides on new 17-inch Ridler wheels wrapped in new BFGoodrich G-Force tires. The floors, doors, and ceiling were completely lined with sound-deadening material. The $10,000 TMI interior includes front sport bucket seats, a matching rear bench seat, matching door panels, and a custom upholstered center console. Additional interior features include a new dash pad, custom instrument panel with AutoMeter gauges, Bluetooth retro-style stereo, amplifier, molded kick-panel speakers, rear 6x9-inch speakers, tilt steering column, custom SS steering wheel, new carpeting, reproduction floor mats, new headliner, new sun visors, and a new rearview mirror. Power comes from a new 6.2-liter LS3 crate engine producing 525 horsepower, with fewer than 1,500 miles since installation. The engine is equipped with stainless-steel headers, cast-aluminum valve covers painted to match the exterior, and a matching intake cover. A CVF front-runner system includes billet brackets and pulleys, a serpentine belt, mini polished air-conditioning compressor, polished alternator, and custom power steering. The car also has power brakes, an aluminum radiator, dual electric cooling fans, CVF billet hood hinges, a smoothed firewall, and an engine compartment painted to match the exterior. The trunk lid and jamb were repainted, the weatherstripping was replaced, and the clean metal trunk compartment is finished in spatter paint. The front suspension was rebuilt and upgraded with tubular control arms and adjustable coilover gas shocks. The rear suspension has new springs and a sway bar. A new Master Power brake system includes large drilled and slotted discs at all four wheels, billet calipers, six-piston front calipers, and a connected emergency-brake assembly. The fuel system was replaced with components compatible with electronic fuel injection. The exhaust system includes stainless-steel mufflers and stainless-steel tips. A new 6L80E overdrive automatic transmission with an external oil cooler sends power to a rebuilt 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 Positraction gearing and an aluminum girdle cover. The floors are clean metal painted silver to match the chassis.
