Vehicle overview
This 1967 Pontiac GTO has approximately 1,500 miles since its detailed frame-off rotisserie restoration and is finished in its factory Tyrol Blue color with hand-painted dual side pinstripes and an Ivory pearl-white interior. The body panels are well aligned with consistent gaps, and the paint has a smooth, glossy, reflective finish. The glass, rubber seals, and window felts were replaced, while the bumpers and bright trim have a mirror-like finish. Exterior equipment includes a remote side mirror, power antenna, correct T3 headlights, and clean mesh grilles. The interior was completely restored with reproduction upholstery, door panels, armrests, carpeting, and floor mats. Factory equipment includes a center console with the dual-gate “His and Hers” automatic shifter, a restored dashboard, deluxe steering wheel on a tilt column, Rally gauges, power-top and power-antenna controls, factory AM/FM radio, lamp group, and factory seatbelts. Power comes from the original numbers-matching 400-cubic-inch High Output V8 rated at 360 horsepower. The engine retains factory Ram Air exhaust manifolds, 670 cylinder heads, and an open-element air cleaner. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes with a cadmium-plated booster, an aluminum radiator, functional horns, a secured battery, dust shields, and a connected windshield-washer system. The metal surfaces in the engine compartment are neatly painted. The trunk lid and jamb are finished to match the exterior, the weatherstripping was replaced, and the trunk contains solid rust-free steel with spatter-finish paint, a working trunk light, vinyl trunk mat, spare-tire cover, spare tire, and jack assembly. The floors are clean metal painted Tyrol Blue and clear-coated. The chassis was completely disassembled, prepared, painted, and rebuilt, including the steering and suspension. The braking system was replaced and includes front disc brakes. A factory-style dual exhaust system uses staggered-size mufflers, resonators, and optional exhaust tips. The fuel system and fuel tank were replaced. The original Turbo 400 automatic transmission retains its 1967 identification tag and sends power to the original 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear end with the correct codes and dates.
