Vehicle overview
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring convertible is a fresh custom build with only 460 miles since completion. Finished in Ebony Black with a Tan leather interior and a black Haartz cloth power top, it combines classic Camaro styling with modern performance upgrades. The body is laser straight with excellent fit and finish and features a cowl hood, rear spoiler, and a new hideaway headlight package. The exterior was completed with replaced chrome, trim, weatherstripping, and mostly new glass. The black Haartz cloth power convertible top complements the polished Billet Specialties wheels, which feature a staggered fitment with larger rear wheels for an aggressive stance. The interior features genuine leather seats, door panels, visors, and a leather convertible top boot. The reclining bucket seats are paired with billet door handles, seat belts for all occupants, and three-point retractable front seat belts. The cabin includes plush carpeting, a new center console, a Hurst 5-speed manual shifter with a custom boot, remote stereo controls, Dakota Digital gauges, gloss-black dash trim, and a custom steering wheel mounted on a tilt column. Power comes from a Smeding Performance Extreme 383 stroker engine producing 450 horsepower. The engine features polished aluminum heads, Smeding Performance polished aluminum valve covers and breathers, an Endurashine Edelbrock intake manifold, dual-feed Holley carburetor with electric choke, billet distributor with HEI ignition, and coated Sanderson shorty headers. The front of the engine uses a Tru-Trac serpentine drive system with polished components, including serpentine pulleys, a mini air-conditioning compressor, billet brackets, a one-wire Powermaster alternator, and a modern power steering system. Cooling is handled by a polished aluminum radiator and electric fan. The engine compartment features pristine metalwork, gloss-black finishes, polished stainless hardware, a smooth firewall, Wilwood master cylinder, upgraded windshield-wiper system, and hidden hoses for a clean appearance. The trunk features painted black panels, clean metal with a neatly applied spatter finish and clear coat, along with a new wiring harness, taillight housings, well liner, and weatherstripping. The chassis has been upgraded with a complete TCI custom chassis system including tubular subframes and frame rails. The front suspension features rack-and-pinion steering, chrome tubular control arms, chrome sway bar, chrome tie rod ends, and adjustable coilover gas shocks. The rear suspension uses a 4-link setup with chrome tubular control arms, panhard bar, and adjustable coilover shocks. The exhaust system includes Flowmaster mufflers and turn-down tips. The fuel system was completely replaced, and the fuel tank is painted gloss black. Braking performance is upgraded with four-wheel drilled and slotted disc brakes, polished calipers, replaced brake lines, stainless hoses, and a custom emergency brake assembly. Additional underside features include a chrome oil pan, chrome fuel pump, high-torque starter, Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, custom driveshaft, and a heavy-duty 9-inch rear end with 3.73 Positraction gearing. The floors are pristine and painted gloss black, while the chassis is finished in gloss black and chrome details. This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring convertible combines a 450-horsepower stroker engine, Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, TCI chassis, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, leather interior, and custom styling into a complete modernized performance build.
