Vehicle Overview

This professionally built 1932 Ford Coupe is a high-end performance hot rod finished in Torch Red with a Charcoal Gray custom interior. Completed in 2004 and driven just over 5,000 miles since completion, it combines traditional Deuce styling with a 430-horsepower GM ZZ350 crate engine, a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, fully independent suspension, and a custom high-tech chassis. The fiberglass body was constructed with a 2-inch chopped roof, filled roof panel, relocated fuel door, widened rear fenders, tapered running boards, rounded trunk corners, and a completely smoothed exterior without exposed handles or unnecessary trim. The front features a traditional Deuce grille shell fitted with a Dan Fink grille, King Bee headlights with concealed wiring, turn signals integrated into the chrome spreader bar, a three-piece metal hood, and a chrome windshield frame. At the rear, the fuel tank was relocated, the frame horns were shortened, and a concealed folding license-plate mount preserves the clean appearance. Custom-built LED taillights were installed beneath the body, while a third brake light is positioned below the rear window. The Torch Red finish was professionally applied, polished, and carefully fitted across the body panels. Polished Budnik Famosa wheels measure 15x6 inches in front and 17x8.5 inches at the rear. Inside, a white-oak instrument panel houses a complete set of VDO gauges, while a custom lower valance flows into a compact center console containing the Vintage Air vents, climate controls, and Genie shifter. The shifter features a custom pistol-grip handle constructed from layered white oak and aluminum. A polished Ididit tilt steering column supports a Budnik billet steering wheel designed to complement the exterior wheels. Glide seats were custom upholstered along with the rest of the Charcoal Gray interior, and a fabricated four-point roll bar is positioned behind the seats. Additional interior features include three-point seatbelts, a Ron Francis wiring system, an overhead stereo console, plush bound-edge carpeting, matching floor mats, power windows, deadbolt-style door locks, and a chrome emergency-brake handle. Power comes from a GM ZZ350 small-block V8 rated at 430 horsepower. The engine is detailed with polished components, cast-aluminum Chevrolet valve covers, a polished Quick Fuel carburetor, premium throttle linkage, braided fuel lines, an MSD ignition system, and a one-wire alternator. Cooling is handled by a brass radiator, aluminum water pump, electric cooling fan, and polished overflow tube. Braided stainless-steel hoses are used throughout the engine compartment, along with chrome steering linkage, a braided transmission dipstick, and coated exhaust headers. The trunk is released through a concealed pull handle beneath the car and is fully upholstered to match the cabin. The battery has been relocated to the trunk and includes a disconnect switch and Battery Tender connection. Underneath, the custom chassis is equipped with a Kugel Komponents independent suspension system. The front suspension features tubular control arms, adjustable gas-charged coilovers, chrome spindles, a chrome sway bar, rack-and-pinion steering, and billet-caliper Wilwood disc brakes. The independent rear suspension uses tubular components, adjustable coilover gas shocks, a high-tech anti-roll bar, chrome axle shafts, and inboard Corvette disc brakes. A Corvette master cylinder with power assist, stainless-steel brake lines, and a functional emergency brake complete the braking system. The custom chassis was powder-coated Gunmetal Gray, with the bottoms of the frame rails finished in Torch Red. Additional undercarriage details include a high-torque starter, chrome oil pan, chrome flywheel cover, a finned aluminum transmission pan, a finned aluminum rear differential housing, and a polished stainless-steel exhaust system with upturned tips. This 1932 Ford Coupe offers a highly detailed combination of custom craftsmanship, strong V8 performance, modern suspension and braking technology, overdrive cruising capability, and carefully coordinated exterior, interior, engine, trunk, and undercarriage finishes.
